Hello! We call ourselves "Olympic Refugees", meaning we are two of the many Londoners who will be leaving when you visit our fair city this summer.

We are offering our terrace house which is within 3 minutes walk to Langdon Park DLR station, and from there just 3 stops (10 min.) to Stratford and the Olympic Stadium and easy connections to central London. If you like to walk, the stadium is a pleasant 30 minute walk away along a canal. We are flexible so please ask if you need it earlier or later than either the Olympics or Paralympics.

Our home is decorated in a Mediterranean style with a small but pretty back garden and patio. The house is 25 years old, but it has been modernised and feels very contemporary. The neighbourhood is a family neighbourhood and the street itself is extremely quiet.

There is enough space to comfortably sleep 4. We have double beds in both bedrooms and 2 more people could sleep in the living room on air mattresses if you wish.

There is a fully equipped modern kitchen with a washing machine, dining room, living room, a bathroom with a tub and shower,desktop computer with free wifi, CD/MP3 player, BBQ/smoker on the patio, and a driveway for a car. The house is non-smoking.

There is a medium size grassy park next to the house and a children's playground near the station. We are just a short walk (5 minutes) to a popular outdoor East End market which also has a major supermarket chain. A large indoor shopping centre in the Canary Wharf business district is just 4 stops (7 min) from Langdon Park station.

We think our house is well situated to the main Olympic venues, yet is not so close as to be distracting, especially at night when you're trying to sleep. It's basic (sorry, no hot tub! ), but comfortable and convenient. Again, we're flexible in many ways, so please drop a line if you have questions.
