Things to do nearby

The house is a 5 minute walk from Leyton Station which is one stop from Stratford International Station. At Stratford station you can get onto the Jubilee line to other Olympic sites such as Greenwich 1 minutes away and also the brand new Westfield shopping centre. Opposite Leyton Station is a large Asda food store for all amenities. You can travel through London's East End which is fashionable, has multicultural residential areas, scene of the medieval Peasants' Revolt, and once famous for market gardens, fine churches, textile, clothing, furniture and shipping-related industries. Hear a little of the dark side with stories of Jack-the-Ripper and street gangs.

For those who have a whole day in which to see East London we recommend a morning East London and Olympic Park tour combined with an afternoon Olympic Greenwich tour.
