About this listing

5 Bed House, London
Parking available

Dear Olympic guests,

The flat is spread over two floors-the bedrooms, a toilet and a bath are downstairs, upstairs we have the open plan kitchen and living room, and the second bathroom with toilet and study / guest room overlooking the garden.

All rooms are spaciously proportioned (each about 12 square meters). The apartment was renovated a year ago, so it is in very good shape! Broadband Internet access is available.

Sleeping arangements are as follows:

- double bedroom with double doors to the garden
- kids room with bunk bed (lay the upper mattress next to the
lower bunk bed to make a 'double bed')
- kids room with sofa bed
- study with sofa bed

The Garden (picture to follow!) is spacious, sunny and quiet, you can sit outside beautiful, there is a trampoline and playhouse for children An oasis of calm after a loud Olympic Day! There's a BBQ for warm summer days.

The kitchen opens to a dining area, and is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, dishes, etc. Our guests enjoy a welcome pack with milk, bread etc, and otherwise use products such as detergent , tabs, soap, detergent and fabric softener, etc may be present.(Isn't it really annoying when you have to buy everything, and then consumes only a fraction of it.)

If you're coming with children we are well equipped, from toys to cots to a trampoline in the garden, everything is there.

Things to do nearby

From our house it's easy to reach the Olympic Stadium with Harringay Overland Station only 4 minutes away on foot; there you have to take the overland train (10min), change stations, and another overland line to Stratford (15 min).

The road is a residential street, and therefore very quiet with little traffic. We can get a guest parking permit for the car, if that is desired, parking is right outside the door. The next big supermarket (Sainsbury's) is about 10 minutes away - but at the bottom of our street is the famous Green Lanes, there are not only many bakers, butchers, small off-licenses and supermarkets (Tesco), but also the best turkish restaurants in London! They are open the whole night :-) Of course there are also a few cafes if you fancy a British 'Fry up '(breakfast)

The No.29 night bus runs along Green Lanes, taking you directly to the West End (Trafalgar Square) All sights and shopping in London are just a short subway ride away: you're in Kings Cross in 10 minutes, and in 20 min at Covent Garden (Piccadilly Line runs through to Heathrow!) The Underground station is Manor House where you can walk in 15 minutes, or take one of the buses on Green Lanes.

There are some nice parks nearby. In Finsbury Park, there is a large playground and a small lake with boat hire.
