10 minute bus ride to Stratford where the Westfield Europe's largest shopping centre with over 300 shops bars and restaurants is situated on the gateway to the Olympic Park and Athletes' Village. Bus stop is 100m from the house. On the Central Line Leytonstone is 2 stops from Stratford 20 minutes from Central London - Oxford Circus/Tottenham Court Road. On the Central line it's very easy commute to most areas; Hyde Park is directly opposite Marble Arch Tube Station on the Central line for example. From Stratford the Overground takes you to the trendy Dalston area in 10 minutes; to Camden Market in 20 and to West Hampstead in 25. The Jubille Line and DLR also run from Stratford taking you to Greenwich and North Greenwich in under 20 minutes and other areas in accross London quickly for easy access toother Olympic sites. The house is a 10 minute walk from Leytonstone Tube station and a 1 minute walk from Leytonstone High Street Overground which connects Leytonstone to West London in 30 minutes. The neighbourhood is very attractive with lots of leafy streets and well kept gardens; it's also quiet and safe. Leytonstone itself has a village-type feel especially in the area around the Tube station with its many pavement cafes and 17th century church. Affordable local cafes and restaurants feature many different cuisines from Indian Chinese and Japanese to Turkish to Medditerranean. There are also several bars and quaint pubs such as the Georgian Nag's Head and the Hitchcock a large pub and carvary where Alfred Hitchcock wrote The Birds. The Hitchcock stands on the edge of Epping Forest 14 miles of grass and forest featuring a boating lake coffee shop and cafe. It is a 15 minute walk from the house to the forest which is popular in summer and a great place for a picnic. The house is 1 minute away from Leytonstone High Road. It is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bus ride to a 24 hour Tesco Superstore and there is a large Turkish supermarket 2 minutes from the house which has fresh fruit and veg bread and sweets made on the premises a butcher and an olive stall. There are also several smaller 24 hour shops and off-licenses nearby on the High Road. The house is available from the 8th August 2011 till September as it has already been rented for the first week of the Olympics. It could sleep 6 if 2 people slept in the living room.
