The block also features a very large roof terrace from which you can see the top of St Pauls cathedral and the bustling London scene around you.In the basement of the block there is also a gym which is free for you to use. The Royal Wedding will take place on Friday 29th April at 11 am at Westminster Abbey. The flat can be made available to rent during this period and is conveniently located, being a 15-20 min taxi ride to Westminster, and a 25 min tube ride away. Near the flat you have the very trendy Exmouth Market, which has a vast array of food from around the world. Conveniently a 2 minute walk takes you to supermarkets Tecso and Waitrose. Also nearby is Saddlers Wells dance theatre, and 'London Theatreland' is only a 10 minute taxi drive away - in April there will be musicals such as Billy Elliot (the musical), We Will Rock You, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and The Children's Hour (with Keira Knightley) - something for every taste! Also the flat is a 15-20 minute walk away from trendy Old Street, Shoreditch and Old Spitalfields market where you can eat, drink and shop to your heart's content! Then there are the museums - the closest ones to the flat are the Museum of London (which was just recently renovated and promises an unforgettable journey through the capital's turbulent past from prehistoric times to the present day). The British museum is only a 10 minute taxi drive away too. The nearest shopping area is Angel and Upper Street - many many unique and individual shops to visit here, check out the really cool ones in Camden Passage! St Pauls and the financial district in the City of London are a 15-20 minute walk away - you could even cycle there (or anywhere in London) on a rented 'Boris bike' (named after the Mayor of London Boris Johnson who introduced them) - they have thousands available to rent across London and can be rented on a casual basis (no sign-up necessary), costing only £1 for 24 hours! You could hire a bike and cycle over to the City of London in 10 minutes to check out the Guildhall, St Pauls and even take a cycle across the river to the Southbank, where you could then go and visit the Tate Modern...the list goes on, there are so many things you could do in London and the flat will offer you the perfect base for everything you have planned!
