This bright modern recently refurbished first-floor apartment is the perfect place to stay for the 2012 Olympics. A 15-minute tube ride away from the Olympic Park and a 10-minute walk from the historical Tower of London it's immersed in the heart of the city but tucked down a quiet side road opposite allotments and next to a convent so you'll feel peaceful and safe when it’s time to call it a day. If you feel like exploring locally you’re walking distance away from Gordon Ramsay’s old gastropub The Narrow (we recommend the Bloody Marys) as well as Kate Moss’s old hangout The George Tavern London’s oldest surviving music hall Wilton’s and some of the best Indian food outside the sub-continent. Shoppers and culture hounds are a half-hour tube ride from the hubbub of Oxford Street and the West End St Paul’s and Canary Wharf and are just a couple of stops away on the Underground. You’ll have the whole place to yourself so you’ll be able to make yourself at home although we’ll always be a phone call away if you need any help or advice (we can recommend lots of pubs and restaurants nearby!) Both bedrooms look out onto the allotments and have plenty of storage space. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed while the second bedroom has a double airbed. The kitchen is recently refurbished and has hardwood flooring an oven dishwasher and roomy fridge. There’s also a washing machine in the utility room and a balcony that’s full of herbs and flowers. There’s one bathroom with a bath and powerful shower. Feel free to make use of our high-speed wi-fi internet and watch our Sky TV.
