Blackheath/Kidbrooke falls under Royal Borough Greenwich (One of the hosting boroughs). It stretches half way down Greenwich Park (North) to Kidbrooke onthe South. The primary housing stock in the area is family houses most of which are terraced and semi-detached with good sized gardens. Interspersed between residential streets are large areas of green such as the heath at Blackheath Eltham Common Woolwich Common Charlton Park and Sutcliffe Park. Large playing fields known as the ‘Long Lane' fields runs through the middle of the area and are often busy with schools and clubs events. Apart from the outdoors the area is close to restaurants pubs supermarkets retail stores. etc. Communication links are good buses run along the South Circular (A2) as well as nearby Rochester Way and Dursley Street. The nearest train station is at Kidbrooke (on the Blackheath Line) provides regular train services into Victoria London Bridge and Charing Cross in about 20 minutes. Also direct buses lead to North Greenwich (The 02 Arena). This is a nice house in a good commutable venue for Olympics 2012 visitors
